Topics include an introduction to CMS, WordPress installation and setup, page and content creation, administration, themes (selection, purchase, installation, and setup), working with widgets and plugins, and more.   Finally, acquire advanced knowledge about WordPress options and features. You will learn how to modify WordPress web pages by hand-coding, learn about simple yet effective search engine optimization (SEO) techniques that improve your website ranking, and much more.    After successfully completing the WordPress Certificate you will know how to build a WordPress website or blog, customize your WordPress site by hand-coding HTML, CSS, and PHP, know necessary regular WordPress maintenance, create WordPress website backup, and know-how to apply SEO techniques in WordPress.

This course includes:

★ 15 hours of in-person classroom instruction (includes BMV written exam)

★ 15 hours of self-paced online course ($18 fee included in your tuition)

★ 10 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction

Upon satisfactory completion of this course, we will issue a temporary learners permit good for 60 days. Students must obtain their 2-year learners permit from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

 

Roy's Driver & Rider Education is the only driving school in Maine authorized to provide a hybrid Driver's Education experience consisting of 15 hours of in-person classroom instruction paired with 15 hours of self-paced online component classes. The online content provider is OnlineDriversEd.com and they are the only provider authorized by the BMV for this curriculum.

Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous (FA) is hosting free information sessions on the following dates: Tuesday, May 20; Monday, June 16; Tuesday, October 21; Monday, November 3.
