College Transitions are programs that allow a student who already possesses a high school diploma to brush up on skills in order to gain entrance into college. If you are having trouble passing college entrance exams, or the college has told you to take adult education classes to bring you up to entrance standards, you need the College Transitions program. There is no fee for this program and you can drop in any time. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Wednesday 8:30-11:00 a.m. and Tuesday 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evenings are at Camden Hills Regional High School. Nancy Nickerson has been working in education for over 20 years, ranging from classrooms of elementary school students to college. As an employment and community service specialist for FEDCAP she evaluated participants vocational and educational needs and participated in many community outreach committees. Nancy is excited to share her enthusiasm for learning with the adult learners in the community.
