Furniture Refinishing and Restoration
with Bob Iannuzzi
Do you have an antique piece of furniture that needs some work? Would you like to refinish that bargain you picked up at a yard sale? Are you planning to paint an old dresser? Do you have a white ring you can’t get rid of on your grandmother’s Duncan Phyfe piecrust table? If so, stop procrastinating, come to this class and learn how to restore that piece of furniture to something you are proud of. Bring a stripper (paste or semi-paste) and old non-nylon brush, newspaper, steel wool pads (rough not fine), a putty knife, heavy duty rubber gloves, rags, a large glass jar and an old toothbrush to the first class. Also bring the piece of furniture you plan to work on, something portable enough for you to bring home and back each week. This class skips a week, meeting dates will be 2/26, 3/12, 3/19 and 3/26.
