Would you like to learn how to create beautiful beaded jewelry, perhaps a bracelet and earrings, by stitching colorful beads together using a needle, thread and beads? The instructor is a self-taught beader and loves sharing this fun and creative hobby with others. The class will cover information about types of seed beads, threads, and other supplies and is intended for students who want to learn basic bead stitching with an easy but intricate looking final product. The instructor will share books and internet sites that will be useful for further learning. Registration $30 plus $10 materials fee to be paid to the instructor. 3 weeks 5:30-7:30 p.m. Begins Tues 4/10 CHRHS Rm 217 Patti Bosken is a retired middle school teacher who has been bead stitching as a hobby for 9 years. She makes jewelry for herself, friends and family and finds beading to be a great creative and artistic outlet. Patti chairs the Program Committee for the Maine Bead Society, an organization that meets monthly with beading enthusiasts throughout the state of Maine.
