This class is for students who want to review math skills before taking a math placement test or enrolling in a college math course. The class provides one-on-one instruction where the instructor and student decide together on which type of math to work on. Some students may need to rebuild foundational math skills and concepts before moving on to more advanced math. Others may want to brush up on their Algebra skills. The class objectives will be decided during the registration process. Students may continue to meet with the instructor for tutoring help during their college mathematics course, if desired. This course has rolling admission and the day and time of meetings is flexible.

In-depth medical coding for CPC certification. This program is designed to teach all aspects of medical coding and provide you the skills needed to become nationally certified and get into the job market as a Certified Coder. This certificate program is taught by a Certified Medical Coder and includes Medical Terminology/Anatomy & Physiology for ICD-10 coding, CPC exam, AAPC membership, 3 practice CPC tests, and all books. Basic computer skills are required.

This course provides practical real-world skills essential for success in the healthcare field. This all-inclusive course consists of Medical Terminology, Medical Front Office Skills, Electronic Medical Records for the Medical Office, and Medical Billing. In addition, upon completion of all courses, you will sit for your CMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant) and Billing Specialist National Certification exams through the NHA. Includes national certifications, books, and fees.

Medical transcription is a desired field for most people trying to work at home. Strong typing, computer, and English grammar skills are essential.   Medical terminology, formats, rules and regulations, jobs, calculation of pay, confidentiality, FTP, and tricks of the trade, all equipment, reference books, and course books are provided with the course fee.  Classes are once a week for 16-weeks with a completion of 16 weeks to 6 month options.  This is a State Certified Program and you will receive a Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation upon graduation, resumes and how to obtain a job are covered in this program.  Course includes medical terminology, Anatomy & physiology and transcription.

The course runs either 16 weeks or up to 6 months.
